TECHNOLOGY LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Technology Leadership Development (TLD) is a program that supports senior-level enterprise leaders in developing the advanced skills required to thrive in today’s technology-driven business climate. We provide an accelerated learning path that empowers participants with a proven framework, guiding principles, and the insight necessary to sustain growth and long-term competitiveness. Participants are challenged to articulate learning through individual program work, group activities, and discussions with industry leaders. These classes are selective to create a unique peer learning community for participants.

Executives choose to attend this class and join this community to become more effective leaders. Participants who complete the program become part of an elite alumni network and peer learning group which is supported by The Feld Group Institute after course work is concluded. Alumni receive monthly newsletters, take part in monthly events, and ongoing professional networking opportunities.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The program is structured into two modules and is designed around a proven, end-to-end framework with real-world case studies to highlight key principles. Lectures, small group discussions and activities encourage classroom engagement and foster collaboration among participants. Informal events help participants form bonds that continue beyond the completion of the program, and alumni events are offered to allow participants to further network.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

Module 1

During the first week of the program, participants develop a common language between business and IT leadership to discuss complex issues. Participants learn how to pick the “right fight,” set the agenda, and develop the vision required for a technology-enabled business transformation.

We focus on the interconnectedness of the first three Transformation Framework models:

  • The Business Model
  • The Business Systems Model
  • The Technical Systems Model

Module 2

Participants return for a second week to focus on the enabling models of the Transformation Framework:

  • The Organization Model
  • The Economic Model
  • The IT Operating Model

Understanding these critical elements positions an organization to deliver new capabilities at a high velocity, in a quality manner, while managing costs and eliminating bureaucracy. Discussion shifts to the pacing and execution of the change agenda to ensure real impact. The program wraps up with a focus on leadership to encourage strategic dialogue with key partners while guiding teams to success.
